Message from the Secretary S&GAD, GoAJ&K

The Kashmir institute of Management(KIM), Muzaffarabad, has emerged as a significant hub for the training and professional development of public servant in Azad Jammu & Kashmir . Over the years, the Institute has steadily evolved into a centre of excellence for capacity building, contributing meaningfully to the strengthening of governance and public service delivery across the region.

As the secretary of the Services & General Administration Department - the supervising department of KIM- and Member of its Board of Governors, I am pleased to observe that the Institute, under its present management, is adopting an enterprising and forward-looking approach toward institutional development and human resource capacity enhancement.

Recent decision of the Board of Governors reflect a clear strategic vision aimed at expanding infrastructure, modernizing training facilities , and broadening and scope of professional training programs. With the development of new training facilities, KIM is well positioned not only to continue its flagship long-duration courses but also to introduce a wide range of short-term and specialized training programs for officers and officials of all cadres of the Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

I am confident that these new initiatives will significantly enhance administrative efficiency, promote professional excellence, and bring positive transformation in governance practices within AJK. Strengthening institutional capacity ultimately contributes to improved public service delivery and fosters and overall prosperity and well-being of the citizens of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
