Message from the Chief Secretary AJ&K/ Chairman BoG, KIM

It is a matter of pride to witness the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM) establishing itself on the path to become a centre of excellence dedicated to strengthening the capacities of public sector employees in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Continued focus on improvement is a testament to the Institute's resolve and the clarity of its vision for the future.

In today's rapidly evolving governance landscape—marked by rising citizen expectations and complex challenges—the task of preparing agile, ethical, and future-ready public servants is of critical importance. KIM has embraced this responsibility well by expanding its training programs, initiating work on digital and AI literacy, fostering policy dialogue, and aligning its activities with national and global trends in governance.

The Board of Governors has recently endorsed a comprehensive reform agenda to guide this transformation. The reforms envision greater inclusivity in training, digital modernization, academic collaboration, and the creation of platforms for policy innovation. These steps mark important milestones in KIM's journey towards becoming a truly modern, quality-driven institution .

As Chairman of the Board of Governors, it is my sincere hope that KIM will carry forward the mission of human capital development, institutional strengthening, and the creation of a dynamic public service for Azad Jammu and Kashmir with dedication and missionary zeal .
