Professional Planning & Management Course (PP&MC)

Introduction

The Professional Planning & Management Course (PP&MC) has been developed to build the capacity of potential BPS-18 officers across all service groups of the AJ&K Civil Service. The course focuses on enhancing management competencies, professional decision-making, inter-departmental coordination, and service delivery.

Aim of PP&MC

• To develop participants’ knowledge, skills, and potential to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
• To sensitize officers on public interest and groom them for improved performance and governance.

Scope of PP&MC

• Promote understanding of inter-departmental coordination and communication.
• Increase knowledge of Rules of Business and administrative structures.
• Enhance communication and interpersonal skills for improved public service delivery.
• Equip participants with essential tools and skills for effective management in the public sector.

• Public servants in at the verge of promotion to BS-18 from federal, provincial, and AJK governments
• Officers from autonomous bodies, regulatory authorities, and development agencies
• Nominees from public sector universities, training institutions, and commissions
• Officers expected to be promoted to higher managerial or policy-implementation roles
