Message from the Senior Most Minister,S&GAD, GoAJ&K

It gives me immense satisfaction to see the revitalization of the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM) as the premier institution dedicated to strengthening the capacity of civil servants and promoting goods governance in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

KIM has a crucial role to play in cultivating a professional, accountable and citizen centric public service. As the Minister Incharge of the Services and General Administration Department, I have been personally committed to restoring and repositioning KIM as a center of excellence for policy training, administrative leadership and institutional development.

The recent appointment of a professional and competent Director General through a transparent and merit-based process is a reflection of our government’s resolve to ensure that institutions like KIM are led with vision, integrity and capability. I am confident that under his leadership, KIM will evolve into a vibrant think tank and a key strategic arm for capacity building in the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and citizen-responsive governance.

In this times ahead, I foresee KIM not only as a training institute but as a catalyst for institutional reform, innovation in public service delivery and cultural change across the governance ecosystem of AJK.

I extend my full support to the Institute’s mission and commend its efforts in repositioning itself to serve the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir with excellence.
